This Javanese and Sundanese restaurant most famous with their spicy dish. This place is fully decorated with traditional ethnic style, and they have this ‘mbah jingkrak statue’ at front door, in all Mbah Jingkrak resto, more like their mascot I suppose.
Food can be order at ‘buffet table’, just choose the dish we want, then a waiter will assist us; we just go back to our table, then food will be served later.
Here, each food and beverage have unique names, such as ‘ayam rambut setan’/‘chicken with devil hair’ or ‘es buaya darat’/’aloe vera drink’, lol.
All food came with affordable price; for 1 piece chicken only Rp. 15.000,- ++, side dish like tempe/soy bean cake only Rp. 6.000,- ++ per portion.
URAP, vegetable salad with grated coconut on top.
