Ikan Kuning/Yellow Fish:

Ingredients:

  • Some palm oil
  • 6 Mackerel
  • 4 stalks lemongrass, beaten
  • 3 cm galangal, beaten

Paste ingredients:

  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 8 shallots
  • 8 red chillies
  • 6 candle nuts
  • 4 bay leaves
  • ½ tsp sugar – 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt – 1 tsp salt

Method:

  • Heat up some oil, fried mackerel in palm oil until golden brown, drain it.
  • Heat up some oil, saute paste ingredients until it fragrant, put some water, then put fried mackerel, mix it, cook for 5 minutes, and ready to serve.
