Ikan Kuning/Yellow Fish:
Ingredients:
- Some palm oil
- 6 Mackerel
- 4 stalks lemongrass, beaten
- 3 cm galangal, beaten
Paste ingredients:
- 6 cloves garlic
- 8 shallots
- 8 red chillies
- 6 candle nuts
- 4 bay leaves
- ½ tsp sugar – 1 tsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt – 1 tsp salt
Method:
- Heat up some oil, fried mackerel in palm oil until golden brown, drain it.
- Heat up some oil, saute paste ingredients until it fragrant, put some water, then put fried mackerel, mix it, cook for 5 minutes, and ready to serve.
